SHORT EXPLANATION ON TONGUES

___________________ Briefly let's read:  1 Corinthians 14:2-7, 14 (KJV)  For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? For if I pray in an unknown tong...

ARE YOU ABLE TO DRINK: APOSTLE ISRAEL.

Christ Life Int'l Network  _____________________ To: BLFE Students From: BLFE Good News Table By: Pastor Israel Mujimba _____________________  Title: Are ye able to drink  Text: Matthew 20:22 _____________________ Scripture Reading: But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They said unto Him, "We are able."  _Ina ndipandulule Most of us desire a crown without a cross; a throne without the alter of sacrifice; the glory without the suffering that leads to it. Let's here stop, and think of all the suffering Jesus Christ endured to be our substitute. What was in the cup that made the Lord Jesus shrink back in dread? The pollution of sin was in that cup he had to drink for us. Blasphemy against God; rape, adultery and sexual perversion; the bitterness of child abuse and wife beating; genocide; the murder of innocent children by abortion; S...

Daniel1:1-21 by Apostle Israel.

Daniel 1:1-21 (KJV)  In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god. And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes; Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the...

APOSTLE ISRAEL: WHAT IS A PRAYER?

What is a prayer? The Bible has many things to say about the subject of prayer. Prayer in simple terms and begginers' level is talking to God. It is our way of communicating our thoughts, needs, and desires to Him.   Prayer In Advanced level It is an avenue that God has provided for the believer of making known the deepest feelings of our heart - .asking God for things Jesus talked about. Matthew 7:7,8   Prayer Is An Act  Prayer is an act, not merely an attitude. This can be seen by the way the Scripture speaks of people praying. He [Jesus] was praying in a certain place, and after He had finished, one of His disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught His disciples (Luke 11:1). Notice it says that Jesus was praying and then He finished praying. This means that prayer is an act. You begin it and you finish it.  Asking God The main idea behind prayer is petition, asking God for things. Jesus said Ask and it will be given to you; seek ...

THE CROSS OF CHRIST

To: BLFE Students From: Israel Mujimba 16/07/2021 _____________________ Title: The Cross of Christ. _____________________ Scripture and texts: 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him...  'John 19:17-18' The Cross of Christ. A mystery and a symbol of the depth of God's love toward us. A visual symbol which illustrates a significant feature of Christianity. It would be most unseemly to feign a cool detachment as we contemplate Christ's Cross. For, whether we like it or not, we are involved. Our sins put Him there. The Cross of Christ. When we survey it, it must be with a bowed head and a broken spirit. It is easy to condemn others and overlook our own equally devious behaviour. We resent His intrusions into our privacy, His demand for our homage, His expectation of our obedience. Why can't he mind his own business, we ask? We too perceive Him as a threat to ou...

The Pattern of Heaven

The Pattern of Heaven 24/02/21 Main Text: 1 Kings 3:5 S/reading: That night the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, ‘What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!’ Outline - It is so important to bring our requests to the Lord. - The pattern of heaven is that we would ask, and that opens the way to receive. - As we ask, we establish a connection between ourselves and the Giver. - We have not, because we ask not. While still at church of christ, Joram Munsaka, said so. Great! PRAYER: Lord, today I come and stand in Your Holy presence to bring my requests and petitions to You. Right now, I ask for a miracle in my situation. You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift and I look to You, for my situation. I also pray for my fellow Christian around the world. I pray for my wife Getrude, daughters and sons, grand children, CLIN Ministries, other churches, friends, and partners, Amen.
